Vitamin E for dogs: one antioxidant, three different tissues

Vitamin E shows up in more Broono products than almost any other ingredient, Essential, Move and Prebiotic, because oxidative stress affects cell membranes everywhere, not just one system.

The same mechanism, three different targets

As a fat-soluble antioxidant, vitamin E helps protect cell membranes from oxidative damage generally, which is its role in Essential. In Move, that same mechanism is aimed at joints and connective tissue, which face mechanical load and normal oxidative processes during activity.

In Prebiotic, the target is skin, a high-turnover barrier tissue exposed to environmental and inflammatory stressors. Research has found altered vitamin E status in dogs with atopic dermatitis, and a related study tracking the skin microbiome in canine atopic dermatitis situates vitamin E within that broader skin-health picture.

Why three products, not one

Rather than picking a single formula to carry vitamin E's antioxidant role, Broono includes a specific, tested amount in each product, sized to the tissue that product is targeting rather than a single blanket amount used everywhere.
