Their years aren't fixed. They're built.

I grew up inside nutrition.

My name is Tommaso. I grew up inside nutrition. My family has worked in animal nutrition for nearly seventy years, out of a precision-nutrition lab outside Milan, and my mom runs the science. Inflammation, gut health, what a body is actually fed. These were dinner-table facts before I had the words for them.

Then there was Chiron, my boxer.

She greeted every visitor like a celebration. Until, slowly, she didn't. Then came the limp, that hesitation a dog makes when something has started to hurt and they've decided to not tell you yet. The vet offered cortisone, then another shot when it wore off. I asked what it was doing for her. The honest answer was nothing. It masked the pain. It didn't touch the cause.

I couldn't accept that. So I went looking for the serious supplement I assumed must exist: real evidence, real doses, built for a dog's ageing. It wasn't there. Proprietary blends. Doses too small to do anything. The canine equivalent of 1970s advice. So I started building what should have existed, working outward from the clinical dose, the amount the published science says actually does something.

Then Anna joined.

She'd spent five years fixing her health by running experiments on herself while I was only theorising. She stopped accepting "normal" and "within range" on a blood panel and started measuring. Nutrition read as research. Sleep treated as a variable. Every change logged against the next draw. At 41 she tests at a PhenoAge of 33, and a metabolic age of 25. None of it is genetics. It's the slow compounding of small choices made when no one's watching.

That's the part most people never get to see proven: a body's decline isn't a verdict handed down. It's an argument you can win, input by input, over years. Anna had won it. When she saw Broono's formulas, she didn't need convincing.

Behind every formulation is my mother, Elisabetta, the Scientific Director of Broono. The first question on any ingredient is always what the research shows, never what the costing allows.

Chiron didn't get any of this. She died of illness and the accumulation of, in hindsight, careless years. The question that came out of losing her is the one Broono now exists to answer: what would different inputs, fed every day for a decade, have changed?
