A limping boxer
I’ve always been passionate about nutrition and wellbeing - first for myself, and then for the ones I care for. Growing up in a family dedicated to animal nutrition, I was surrounded by conversations about ingredients, quality, and how the right nutrition can truly make a difference.
Then came Kiron, my boxer. When she started limping, the vets only suggested cortisone shots: a quick fix, but harmful over time. It wasn’t the kind of care I wanted for her - it masked the pain without solving the root problem. That’s when I realised the pet market was missing an honest, holistic approach to health.
In search of a solution
Looking deeper, I saw plenty of big brands, but very few products that felt truly innovative or transparent.
So I combined my passion for wellbeing with my family’s expertise, and together with my mum - our scientific advisor - we created Broono.
The birth of Broono
At the start, I did everything myself: building the website, designing the labels, creating the first products. Every challenge became part of the journey.
Then Anna joined me, bringing her drive and energy to help balance the highs and lows of building the next generation of dog wellbeing.
